We’ve combined Wild Flora honey with cacao to create a honey with a rich dark chocolate taste.

Perfect for spreading on toast, mixing with hot drinks, dipping with sliced apple or simply adding some sweet flavour to your own creations.

Cacao plants have two edible parts: the seeds (also called beans) and the fruit. If you've ever eaten chocolate, you've eaten cacao seeds.

Honey and Cacao together create a beautifully smooth, rich flavour. If you like chocolate spreads and honey, you will enjoy this.

Made with organic Cacao Powder.
Cacao powder is made from fermented Cacao beans which have had fatty part of the bean (which is known as cocoa butter) remove. At harvest the Cacao beans are fermented but not roasted to develop a full flavor and texture, processed at low temperatures and then milled into a powder. The result is a powder that's has a rich, smooth and dark chocolate taste whilst having a high nutritional content.
Cacao powder so not be confused with the similarly named Cocoa powder. This on the other hand is made from beans that are both fermented and roasted, and then processed at a much higher temperature. The result is a slightly sweeter less, rounded flavoured darker powder that has lost some of its nutritional values.

Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months old.

In hot weather we recommend that our Manuka Doctor Honey is refrigerated to maintain a thick, golden consistency. If your honey does become runny then simply chill for a few hours.
